Why this event matters
Every young person has a story worth telling, but too many youth are underrecognized in our community that go unheard. Consciousness Youth Expressions Inc, is working to change the literacy narrative for under-resourced and under-acknowledged youth.
What your support makes possible
Youth share their work on our digital platform and in a old-fashioned printed newspaper, so they are truly seen and heard. Your support helps us:
Build reading and writing skills in afterschool, summer, and community programs
Give youth hands-on experience in journalism, podcasting, and interviewing
Develop leadership and public speaking skills
Create lifelong readers and better futures
