Barbershop Visits
Barbershop Visits: Book Boxes & Community Storytelling
🗓️ TBD
🕙 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Times may vary by location)
📍 Local Barbershops Across Charlotte
We’re bringing books and storytelling directly to the community—one barbershop at a time. As part of this initiative, we’re placing Book Boxes in participating barbershops filled with free books, family flyers, and a letter for parents and community partners. Visitors are encouraged to take a book and also share their stories with us.
We're also launching monthly writing contests—open to all ages—because every voice matters. Selected stories will be featured in our quarterly youth newspaper and here on our website.
Join us in celebrating the stories, wisdom, and creativity within our neighborhoods.
